This privacy policy explains how we collect, use and protect your information. It applies to information we obtain through the Internet, telephone, fax, mail or other means. By using the website (defined below), you signify your acceptance of the privacy policy. Please read carefully before you use Childslearn’s website. Which laws generally apply to student records? Childslearn complies with laws that protect educational records. This includes the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (“FERPA”) and state laws regarding student records. Other entities can access these records only when permitted by these laws, and they agree to keep them confidential as required by these laws. Childslearn will not use a student’s PI to advertise to that student. Childslearn does not sell PI. Childslearn will not illegally create student profiles. Childslearn does not (unless we request and obtain permission) to use student PI for purposes unrelated to providing or improving their education, and we are prohibited by law from doing so. If any part of this policy conflicts with FERPA or other laws, Childslearn will comply with standards that provide more protection for educational records. We will automatically receive non-PI from your web browser or device connected to the Internet. This includes your IP address (a string of numbers that identifies the device), the name of the web page you visited before visiting us, one or more pages you visited on our website, and the time you spent on each page.
